This role is about observing real-world changes - locally.

A Reporter documents what is happening in the city they are actively connected to.

Rooted in one city

Reporting is always city-specific.

A Reporter focuses on the city they are currently active in - capturing changes, moments and conditions as they appear on the ground.

What can impact a journey?

Local and temporary events often shape how a city is experienced.

A Reporter may document observations such as:

- changes in accessibility or transport flow

- temporary closures, renovations or restrictions

- seasonal crowd dynamics or unusual congestion

- local events altering the atmosphere of a district

- environmental conditions affecting comfort or safety

- shifts in neighborhood activity or availability

Not a rank. A perspective.

Being a Reporter is not tied to a specific status or role within the system.

Anyone actively connected to a city can contribute observations - regardless of whether they are a Traveller, Content User or Travel Ops Specialist.

From observation to context

Individual reports help add context to cities and packs.

They don’t define experiences, but they can influence how others prepare for them.

Structure & Responsibility

Reports are designed to be concise, factual and clearly contextualized.

The goal is not urgency but reliability.

Reporting doesn’t require authority. Only attention.
